Reserving Appointments: We respectfully request that patients pay for their appointments at the time of booking. This ensures that sufficient clinical surgery time is permanently reserved in Dr. Oscroft’s diary.

Accepted Payment Methods: Cash, Personal Cheque (supported by guarantee card), all major Debit and Credit cards, and American Express (Amex).

Cancellation Policy: We operate a strict 48-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or re-schedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours advance notice to avoid a late cancellation charge / broken appointment fee.

Guarantee and Post-Operative Care Realities

We respectfully inform all patients that we are unable to provide unconditional lifetime guarantees on dental restorations (fillings, inlays, onlays, crowns, veneers, and dentures). Once placed, dental materials are subject to real-world biological and physical factors beyond clinical control:

• Mechanical Stress: Restorations can fracture due to impact with foreign objects (olive stones, bones, pens, bottle opening, sports impact, slips) or unconscious clenching and nocturnal bruxism.
• Biological Factors: Recurrent secondary decay and periodontal gum disease can occur due to irregular home flossing, high sugar/acid intake, smoking, or missed routine hygiene visits.

To protect your investment and preserve the health of your dental work, we recommend attending routine dental examinations every 6 to 12 months, scheduling professional hygiene therapy every 3 months, and wearing a custom night guard if diagnosed with grinding.
